
Tasting notes of strawberry, wine gums and caramel
We travelled to El Salvador in February this year to visit Tomas at El Cipres and cup some of his delicious coffee. This coffee is bursting with flavour and sweetness - a real ‘Pic N’ Mix’. We worked directly with Tomas and his exporter to source this coffee and with Algrano to support import into the UK.

Traceability
Finca el Cipres is located on the Lamatepec Volcano in Santa Ana. We visited Tomas in February 2019 and purchased 690kg of coffee, paying twice the FairTrade minimum price. The coffee was exported from Acajutla (El Salvador) at the end of May 2019 and it landed in Bury St Edmunds (UK) on 14th August 2019. We received the coffee at our roastery in Surrey on 20th August 2019 and Elizabeth scheduled in a first production roast for the 5th Sept 2019.
